Das hier ist leider alles, was wir noch an Beutespielzeug haben. Den Ball und den Knotenstrick, die ich mitgebracht hatte, haben sie leider unbeobachtet schon zerlegt. Wir brauchen Beisswuerste, Kongs, Ball an der Schur und aehnliche moeglichst roboste Spielzeuge, aber bitte nicht aus Jute, Textil oder Tennisbaelle. Ebenfalls benoetigen wir unbedingt mehr Clicker. Auch ueber halbtrockenes Hundefutter als Leckerchen (Wolfsblut, Schmackos, Frolic oder so) wuerden sich unsere 4beiner wahnsinnig freuen. Hier gibts nur Pedigree als Fertigfutter, das ist geschmacklich nicht so der Hit. Wer also in der naechsten Zeit nach Nepal fliegt und was mitbringen koennte bzw Sachspenden transportieren kann, oder uns dafuer etwas spenden wuerde, der mag sich bitte bei uns melden! Tulsi ist hier im Office und hat sich ihren Anzug staendig ausgezogen. Stattdessen traegt sie jetzt die Nepali version Halskragen. Franky hatte sich kurz bevor ich nach Shyauli kam eine Beisserei mit einem der Grossen geliefert. Dabei hatte er sich den Milch- P4 oben rechts mitsamt der lateralen Knochenlamelle rausgebrochen, so dass die Zahnanlage vom bleibenden P4 frei lag. Alles war fett entzuendet und schmerzhaft und Franky hatte Fieber. In Shyauli hatte ich leider nur Lidocain zur Verfügung und damit liess sich Franky leider nicht den Zahn und das Knochenfragment entfernen und die Wunde naehen. Ich konnte ihn nur mit Antibiose und Schmerzmittel abdecken und das Loch mit Braunol spuelen. Chirurgisch keine grosse Sache anfuersich. So haben wir ihn und Tulsi mit ins Office gebracht, zwecks Narkose. Leider ist Dr. Pun noch bis Freitag weg. Der lokale Tierarzt hier in Chauthe kam dann heute frueh vorbei, um zu sehen was los ist und was genau gebraucht wird ( leider spricht er kein Englisch). Dann musste er noch zu einer Ziegengeburt, und dann kam Franky endlich in den Genuss von Ket/Xyl... Braunuele hatte ich dabei

Up to now, they haven´t found any new traces from Chris in the area, river up and below from Swiss Camp. They only found some items that were not belonging to him. (There´s a lot of trash from former expeditions in this area) . Tomorrow they will shift to Japanese Camp (4440m) and start with the next search section. Today is my last evening in Shyauli and I am so happy to see all the team coming back home from the search mission tired but healthy! They came with our new Jeep and Jit was also really happy with the first tour. They brought the Netherlands team Ruben, Paul and Michel with them. After an introduction, they gave their search camera equipment as a gift to our team. Thank you very much, I was really impressed by the technical details . I am sure that it will be very useful for us in future. Little Franky came with them, too and the wound looks great (ok the 2.0 Vicryl looks bit like a Wurschtkordel, but ke garne...). The dogs are happy to be at home and the ranking of the pack is much clearer now since Uttam the boss is back. We made a short training with Ambar and Turner and it works really fine. First Turner jumped at Ambar and then he tried at me again, but I think they will become a great team an mission ready within few weeks. After a while the Sardogs family was nearly completely.

Today is a very special day. After 7,5 years without own vehicle, SARDOGS NEPAL got their own one! It will make our daily work as well as our search missions much much easier. It's a brand new TATA XENON, 4 WD, double cabine pick-up jeep. Enough space for one search group including dogs and equipment. Heute ist ein großer Tag: nach 7,5 Jahren ohne Jeep bekommt SARDOGS NEPAL wieder sein eigenes Einsatzfahrzeug. Es wird unsere tägliche Arbeit sowie die Durchführung von Sucheinsätzen deutlich erleichtern. Es ist ein brandneuer TATA XENON, 4 WD Pick Up mit Doppelkabine. Genug Platz für eine Suchmannschaft mit Hunden und Ausrüstung. Karna just called me from mobile. That means they are back in the civilization :-). They are on their way to Beni now and will reach Pokhara in late evening. (It takes around 3 hours from there). Tomorrow the dogs will have their vet check at first and then hopefully come back to Shyauli. About the results of the search we will inform after the final briefing with the Netherlands team.
